if several sites are hosted on a same server, is it possible to “combine” the traffic? i.e. use the site A’s traffic to contribute towards site B’s exposure?

It’s all about getting traffic to your site. That means getting exposure wherever you can. Set up a Facebook page, get on Twitter, share video clips with your own YouTube Channel (all free). If you don’t have a website yet, get a WordPress blog site and update your audience about your music. WordPress is very good with the search engines. If you’re doing everything yourself, consider getting “Web Marketing for Dummies.” Lots of content, but all important.
